Turnkey Pre-Fabrication, Construction & Maintenance Solutions

Global Energy Solutions is a dedicated specialist in turnkey pre-fabrication and marine construction, commissioning, refit, repair and maintenance — delivering bespoke engineering solutions from initial surveys through to turnkey refurbishments.

With its headquarters located at the historic deep-water cruise port of Invergordon, and a track record of supporting the maritime sector internationally, the team has delivered vessel newbuild installations, retrofits, conversions and general maintenance and modification works for shipyards and operators across cruise, ferry, FSO, FPSO, offshore construction, heavy lift, cable lay and wind farm vessel assets.

End-to-end solutions across the full project lifecycle

With capabilities spanning the full project lifecycle — from concept and detailed design through to installation, commissioning and handover. Core services include:

Comprehensive marine and industrial engineering across the full project lifecycle — from concept and detailed design through to installation support and commissioning. Expertise spans structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, telecom and auxiliary systems.

Structural and mechanical services for new installations, modifications and repairs, including structural steelwork and pipework manufacture. Works are executed in line with class and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on safety, integrity and operational reliability.

Electrical and automation services covering power distribution, control systems, instrumentation and automation. Capabilities include system installation, upgrades, fault finding, testing and commissioning across marine and industrial environments.

High-integrity fabrication and welding services including steel and pipe fabrication, precision welding and custom mechanical assemblies. Controlled offsite prefabrication improves quality control and reduces installation time and risk for both newbuild and retrofit projects.

Full-lifecycle pipework capabilities spanning survey, design, fabrication, installation, modification and repair. Global Energy Solutions works across fuel, ballast, water, waste, fire suppression and process systems.

Specialist inspection, maintenance, repair and compliance testing for pressure vessels, boilers and associated systems — ensuring continued integrity, safety and regulatory compliance.

Planned maintenance, corrective repairs and emergency response services to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuity, covering dry dock and in-service works across marine and industrial assets.

Refurbishment and upgrade projects to improve performance, extend asset life and meet evolving operational requirements — including system renewals, retrofits, conversions and life-extension programmes.

On-site installation and commissioning support including system integration, functional testing, performance verification and handover, ensuring systems are ready for operational use.

Quality management and compliance embedded across all activities, supporting class and regulatory requirements through inspections, documentation, certification and audit support.

Ongoing technical and operational support throughout the asset lifecycle, including inspections, upgrades, system modifications and specialist site teams to keep assets compliant and performing.

Specialist capabilities include design engineering, ABS and DNV structural surveys, mechanical and electrical works, hydraulics, pipework, steelwork, HVAC, air conditioning, ductwork, fabric maintenance, corrosion protection, diving, inspection, coatings, outfitting, pressure testing and turbomachinery services.
