Specialist Rope Access Works on Borgland Dolphin Semi-Submersible in Las Palmas

Summer 2024, the Borgland Dolphin semi-submersible drilling rig arrived at Astican’s facilities in the Port of Las Palmas for a ten-month refit ahead of its next operational deployment.

With a strategically located office in Las Palmas, Global Energy Solutions was well positioned to support our valued client, Astican, with work scopes involving the removal and installation of cathodic anodes. These works were delivered in a timely manner, supported by local project controls and a reliable supply chain.

As part of our construction and installation service offering, we deployed our multi-skilled Welding & Rigging Rope Access Team to safely carry out the works across the pontoons, braces, and columns.
